Can I use Bus Éireann to get to and from the airport?
As well as Dublin airport, there are frequent services to Cork, Kerry, Knock, Shannon and Ireland West Airports.
Can I reserve a seat on my Bus Éireann service?
Generally, this won’t be necessary - just buy your ticket online and make sure you arrive before departure to secure a seat. If you’re travelling on Expressway routes X1, 30 or 32, you may be able to reserve seats during the booking process.
What time should I plan to arrive at my terminal if I’m travelling with Bus Éireann?
We’d recommend planning your journey so you arrive at the airport or ferry terminal one hour before the intended check in time when using Bus Éireann - this will allow for unexpected delays or traffic issues.

Depending on the kind of deal it is, there are two ways you can redeem your Bus Éireann offer.
- If the offer prompts you with a ‘view discount’ button, it’s a deal without a code. You’ll be redirected to the Bus Éireann website, where you can select your bus tickets - the discount is automatic.
- If the offer button says ‘get code’, you’ll need to select this and copy the code that appears. From here, follow the ‘shop now’ link to the Bus Éireann website. Here, you can enter your trip details and select your ticket type. When you select ‘search’, your travel options will appear - enter your code in the box to the right of the screen, just above the ‘total cost’.
Opt for a 10-journey ticket to cut the cost of your commute!
